The South Korean manufacturer said that the handset, which was launched in March last year - and is also known as the KE850 - has now sold over a million units.
LG have claimed that since it was unveiled, the Prada "has been recognised as one of the world's most sophisticated handsets, combining innovative design with technological breakthroughs."
It added that one such innovation was the introduction of the first complete touch screen and a partnership with Prada that saw "two vastly different industries" combine to create "a platform for new design opportunities".
A new LG Prada handset is expected to launch by the end of the year, but in the meantime the original models is still available.
The phones list of features include a two-megapixel camera with autofocus, FM radio, Java games, WAP 2.0 and EDGE connectivity as well as SD memory card support and Bluetooth.
