New Sony Ericsson 'much too awesome'

New details have emerged on an eagerly-anticipated handset from Sony Ericsson.
Engadget reports this week that the Sony Ericsson X1 will be available soon across the globe and is to be split into two different models targeted as separate markets.

The article notes the decision to have two mobile phones, the X1a and the X1i, suggests "there's just too much awesome for any one phone to handle" and citing the Xperiancers website, offers some hints on what the differences will be.
It is thought that the X1a will be exclusively for the North American, Latin American and Australian market and will be feature a different networking configuration.
It adds this may refer to "the presence of 850, 1700, and 1900MHz HSPA" in those particular regions and adds that video playback will be at 24fps video rather than 30.
According to the Carphonewarehouse, the Sony Ericsson X1 has "way too many features to list" but adds that with DVD-quality video playback, Microsoft Office and a 3.2-megapixel camera "it's a phone equipped for fun and work".
