Apple iPhone 3G's '20 best games' revealed

A new article has listed some of the best games currently available for the Apple iPhone 3G.

According to Pocket Gamer, the handset - which is expected to be available to pay as you go customers before Christmas - has a wide selection of titles on offer, but there are 20 some believe are the most worthy of a download.

The iPhone Game Quality Index recommended Dizzy Bee, a "cuddly" platform-based puzzle game, as the top title for those visiting the App Store to consider.

"Dizzy Bee from Igloo Games comes top with an average rating of 8.67," the site said, "narrowly beating out Gameloft's Asphalt 4: Elite Racing and Apple's own Texas Hold'em."

In fourth place was Crash Bandicoot Nitro Kart 3D, followed by Trism, Real Football 2009, Mondo Solitaire, Toy Bot Diaries, Brain Challenge and Critter Crunch.

Outside the top ten, the site listed Space Monkey, Zen Pinball: Rollercoaster, Diner Dash, Super Monkey Ball, Spore Origins, Diamond Twister, SolarQuest, Cro-Mag Rally, De Blob and EA Sudoku, which took the 20th spot.

Earlier this year, the site recommended Dizzy Bee for its "polished look and feel".
