Motorola has unveiled a new addition to its product line-up this week with the launch of the MOTO VE66.
The slider handset comes equipped with CrystalTalk technology, which is also ready to transform user's calls as it amplifies conversations while reducing background noise for "superior" quality, the manufacturer said.
A second microphone is also fitted in the VE66 for enhanced sound and a five-megapixel camera captures "crisp and clear images" which can then be edited to achieve the best photo possible.
The other features Motorola revealed were the FastScroll navigation wheel and the mp3 player with integrated FM radio.
A review of the phone by gadget website T3 was mostly positive and said overall it was a "solid performer".
Downloadable widgets were also noted as "a step in the right direction" for Motorola, although it was pointed out that this type of technology is "certainly not new".
The VE66 is expected to be on shelves in early 2009.
