The manufacturer of some of this year's most innovative mobile phones has announced its support for the 2008 London New Year's Eve celebrations.
LG Electronics, the company behind the recently-launched eight-megapixel LG KC910 Renoir, is to sponsor the fireworks display on the night - which will be screened on BBC One.
The event will take place in front of the capital's London Eye and is to be arranged by internationally renowned pyrotechnician Christophe Berthonneau.
Commenting on the news, LG marketing director Andrew Warner said the New Year's Eve display would run with the help of some of the company's best products and was in line with the company motto.
"We will be using LG technology to significantly enhance the experience on the night," he said, adding that the event was "a perfect fit with our brand's philosophy of Life's Good."
The LG KC910 Renoir is just one of the manufacturer's most recent models. Others include the KP500 Cookie and the Prada II - which was announced earlier this month.
