Sony Ericsson offers budget Walkman model

Following a number of new Walkman phones, Sony Ericsson has launched a handset that will appeal to music lovers on a budget, according to a new review.
In an article for Trusted Reviews, Sandra Vogel states that those looking for the kind of high-performance camera power of a Cybershot will be disappointed with the W380i - however music fans may feel a little different.
She states that Sony Ericsson "just keeps on coming" with the Walkman mobile phones and notes that the clamshell W380i "is designed to bring the Walkman branding and features to those that want to watch the pennies".
The lightweight handset is praised for clocking in at 100g and the 512MB Memory Stick Micro is a welcome addition that "nestles in a slot that is easily accessible".
However, Ms Vogel states that although the W380i is not a Cybershot-branded model "Sony Ericsson does itself a disservice by opting for a 1.3-megapixel sensor".
Sony Ericsson has a wide range of Walkman mobile phones currently available, including from stores such as the Carphonewarehouse and Dialaphone.
