Laptop boost for Carphonewarehouse

In line with the current sale of mobile broadband packages from Orange, the Carphonewarehouse could soon offer a new range of laptops, it has emerged.
Mobile Today reports that the retailer is expected to announce that it will begin offering Toshiba laptops bundled with Orange mobile broadband dongles some time in June.
The site adds that the Carphonewarehouse has confirmed there is an announcement due on the sale of laptops, but the company has yet to make any official statement.
A spokesman for the retailer told the site, "We will have a new model of laptop [next month], but the final details are still to be agreed so we cannot say more."
It has also been suggested that the Carphonewarehouse is looking to strike deals with Sony and Apple as part of its current deals which include models from HP and Acer.
The chain also sells mobile broadband and fixed-line packages from Virgin, Orange, 3, T-Mobile and O2.
