There have been a number of innovations that have been incorporated into mobile phones over the years, now one site has reported a reverse to the trend.
According to Gizmodo, for around £150 consumers might be able to get their hands - or wrists - on a new watch that incorporates a mobile phone.
It is reported that the EP2502 is lighter than previous attempts to get mobile phones into a wrist watch and that the unit also carries a number of unexpected features.
"[Users will] also find it can play back mp4 movies, mp3 music and features a built in 2MP camera," the site notes.
The 1.3-inch OLED touchscreen can display a clock when the mobile phone feature is not in use and it is noted that Bluetooth has also been included.
However, it is also noted that past innovations of this kind have been a "let down" before - and as such the site suggests consumers should not get too excited at the prospect of the model.
