With a number of new touchscreen phones hitting the market, one website has given a preview of the latest model from Samsung.
According to mobileburn.com, Samsung is set to release its new SCH-u940 Glyde handset and in addition it notes that the model is both stylish to look at and simple to use.
Some of the features highlighted include a slide-out full QWERTY keyboard, micro SD card slot and "relatively large" WVGA touchscreen which offers 240 x 440 pixel resolution and is "more than bright and crisp enough".
The review adds that the build of the SCH-u940 Glyde is solid and the slide out section has a "smooth and mildly sprung action".
"Overall I still like the Samsung Glyde," the reviewer concludes.
"It is a good looking device, has a interesting user interface and has a good set of specs for a phone of its size."
Earlier this year, the Chicago Tribune noted that manufacturers such as Samsung, LG, Motorola and Sony Ericsson were among those offering mobile phones with a touchscreen at the CTIA Wireless conference in Las Vegas.
