Sony Ericsson's latest entry-level series model still manages to pack in a number of features that may not be found elsewhere.
According to a recent review for 3g.co.uk, Sony Ericsson clearly has the entry-level market in mind with the Z555i. However, the handset still offers a camera and gesture control.
It is reported the clamshell handset does lack some functions such as 3G, but adds that it offers a 1.3-megapixel camera and the ability to silence unwanted calls or alarms with a hand gesture "about an inch over the top of the OLED screen".
The Z555i also comes with 12MB of shared memory and is able to connect to a memory stick through an M2 micro slot, which is also praised by the site.
"It is pleasing that both the music player and FM radio can continue to be played whilst using other features, including the camera. We found the radio reception was very good," the article notes.
Nokia's entry-level 1200 and 1650 mobile phones were recently highlighted by Trusted Reviews although neither have a camera, music player or gesture control feature.
