BlackBerry offers another Curve

BlackBerry's new version of the Curve 8300 has been put to the test in a new review.

According to Phone Arena, Research In Motion (RIM) have upgraded their "consumer-friendly" BlackBerry Curve 8300 and the results may be of interest to the business user.

It is reported that many of the new 8300's features remain the same and that nothing has been done to build on the two-megapixel camera, microSD expansion or the unit's trackball navigation and Qwerty keyboard.

However, these may have been things that made the original model such as success and the site adds that instead there are more important things for users to look forward to.

"The CDMA Curve 8330 brings some notable upgrades to the original GSM 8300 including a bump in memory, integrated GPS and most importantly high-speed EVDO data," it concludes.

Primarily, RIM's BlackBerry range is targeted at the business user, however the phones are increasingly popular with celebrities - counting Jay-Z, Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton among their many fans.
