BlackBerry 8110 Pearl "feels great"

The new BlackBerry Pearl 8110 has been road tested in a recent article and according to the reviewer the handset is both stylish and sturdy.
In the article for mobilitysite.com, Chris Leckness states that although he feels like a "stranger in a strange land" having never used a BlackBerry before, his first impressions of the unit have been positive.
He states that getting used to email and other applications that the phone offers has been a challenge, but one which he was keen to embark upon.
"I really like the hardware; it's really sleek and feels great in my hand. It doesn't feel too frail - but it's not bulky either," he states.
One welcome addition is the trackball on the 8110, which he states was smoother than he had anticipated.
"I really like its implementation. It works great, lights up when in use and is not jerky as I would expect".
Earlier this month, Madonna admitted that she too was a fan of the BlackBerry and would rarely sleep without the handset close by.
