T Mobile is to boost its services and the results could be of great interest to those involved in social networking websites.
It has emerged this week that the network is to offer its users access to Bebo and Piczo through its My Social Sites service and this will mean its subscribers will be now be able to upload pictures from their mobile phones directly.
T Mobile has confirmed that both sites will join Xanga, LiveJournal, BlackPlanet, Vox and Rabble on the My Social Sites page and according to Pauline Lunn, a spokeswoman for the network, is expected to be a huge success.
Citing figures from an eMarketer survey published in May, Ms Lunn states that over 800 million people will be involved with social networking on their mobile phones by 2012 and T Mobile is keen to embrace this.
"Our customers have told us that they want to stay in touch with their social networks, wherever they are and My Social Sites allows exactly that," she said.
"By adding Bebo and Piczo to the service we've added two of the industry's most popular sites."
