Pop princesses and Hollywood movie stars are among the latest batch of celebrities to be spotted with their trusted BlackBerrys in hand.

According to Celebrity Blackberry Sightings, Britney Spears was recently snapped clutching her BlackBerry along with a frappuccino and from the UK Lily Allen was among those recently seen with a similar handful.

It is reported that Speed and Miss Congeniality star Sandra Bullock has traded in her old phone for one of Research In Motion's handsets recently and offers picture evidence as the actress strolled off the set for her latest film All About Steve.

"We're glad to see she finally switched from using a Sidekick II to a BlackBerry," the site adds.

Jessica Biel was seen without makeup but with an orange-skinned BlackBerry getting off an aeroplane and the site also revealed r'n'b superstar Akon as a user of the smartphones.

"The chipmunk-sounding music megastar that sets record sales soaring on every single he touches is a BlackBerry user!"
