A new smartphone from HTC has been given a sneak preview in a recent article for mobileburn.com, it has emerged.

According to the site the HTC Touch Diamond is certainly going to be something to look forward to when it hits the stores and should generate a lot of interest from those looking for a high performance handset.

It is reported that the model is equipped with tri-band and HSDPA support and has Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional as its operating system.

Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB connectivity and a 4GB internal hard drive are included, and the integrated TouchFLO 3D system is offered particular praise.

"The Touch Diamond is the coolest Windows Mobile Professional device I have used, bar none," the site concludes.

Other HTC models with integrated TouchFLO available in Europe include the Ted Baker Needle, currently onsale through the Carphonewarehouse.
