A new technology has been unveiled by Orange that uses the power of dancing to charge mobile phones.
The network has announced that revellers at this year's Glastonbury Festival will be among the first to test out the system, which channels movement into real energy that can power mobile phones as their users dance.
The Orange Dance Charge prototype has been created in conjunction with renewable energy specialist GotWind and transforms kinetic energy into mobile power using a portable phone charger that weighs around 180g.
Hattie Magee, head of partnerships at Orange UK, said: "We wanted to create a fun, engaging and interactive product which would encourage users to have a laugh while charging their mobile phone."
She adds that in addition to the fun element, visitors to Glastonbury will be taking part in a useful test for the network.
The Glastonbury Festival takes place this weekend and among the headlining acts are Jay-Z, The Raconteurs and Leonard Cohen.
