A new version of a popular console title is being made available for mobile phones, it has emerged.
It is reported that Assassin's Creed, which is already available to gamers with mobile phones in a 2D version, is to get a 3D revamp by Gameloft and could be available soon.
Pocketgamer.co.uk states that the original 2D Assassin's Creed - adapted from the game available on PC, Xbox, PlayStation and Nintendo DS - was "rather fine" and the site states that the new version is also looking impressive.
It states that initial screenshots suggests the game will "look lovely" and gamers can expect to have access to 23 levels covering four cities - Damascus, Jerusalem, Masyaf and Acre.
"You'll be slaying enemies with combo moves and sneaky kills, while also testing your pickpocket skills nicking precious items from unwary citizens. There'll be a choice of six weapons too," the site adds.
