It is expected that the eagerly-anticipated Apple iPhone 3G will be available on pay-as-you-go (payg) - and one site claims to have more information.
A number of sources have stated that the new handset will be accessible to payg users and now Trusted Reviews reports that this may involve a staggered release from Apple.
It is reported that the 8GB iPhone 3G will see a release that will be accompanied by a £350 price tag and further down the line the 16GB model will be available for "between £450 and £500".
The article adds that its sources suggest the 16GB version will be released "two or three weeks later" than the initial July 11th release date and adds that many people may choose to take advantage of the range of contract options that will be available.
"I think it's probably fair to say demand will be low - especially considering the 'from free' contracts now on offer," the site suggests.
The iPhone 3G was announced following months of speculation earlier this month at Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference.
