Txt addict celebr8s LG contest win

LG has announced the winner of its second annual National Texting Competition in New York.
Fox Business reports that the competition, designed to find the fastest texter in the US with an LG handset, crowned 20-year-old Nathan Schwartz of Clyde, Ohio the champion after a range of typing tests.
Contestants had to type text messages using their LGmobile phones precisely as they appeared on overhead screens - with the fastest texters making it to the next round.
Commenting on the win, Mr Schwartz said he "wanted to scream" when he heard that he had taken the title and the first thing he did was make a call - as opposed to send a text - to his mother.
"I called my mom as the confetti was falling on stage," he said, "I think it will be fun to tell all of my friends and family that I am the fastest texter in the country!"
Forbes also reported this week that LG could be looking to host versions of the competition in Europe next year.
