Browser for mobile phones gets an upgrade

One of the most popular browsers for mobile phones is set to get an upgrade, it has emerged.
According to the Trusted Reviews website, Opera will this month see a brand new release sent out in to the market which will be available as a public version and will be pre-installed on some mobile phones.
Opera 9.5 is expected to be made available from July 15th and the site notes in addition to currently being the most popular third party software of its type, it could be its "greatest incarnation" to date.
It adds that the Norwegian coders behind the Opera browser unveiled the 9.5 version in a recent blog and states that although it has been a long time coming, users can expect great things.
"A new version of the browser engine will ensure that you can surf the web with a browser supporting the latest and greatest in web standards," the blog said.
