Veterinary treat for young mobile gamers tested

Animal lovers may be interested in a new game that has been released for mobile phones, which one website has put to the test.
Paws and Claws Pet Vet adds to a number of other titles available, Pocket Gamer states, which allow people to look after a wide selection of animals including horses, hamsters and dogs.
However, it adds this particular game, which is published by THQ wireless and tested on the Sony Ericsson K810i, goes one step further by letting the player diagnose them for illnesses and then treat them.
It is noted Paws and Claws Pet Vet is a title clearly aimed at the younger user, but will also require them to do "some detective work" when looking to diagnose patients.
"So the owner might tell you his pet is off its food and tired," the review states, "which normally means some sort of deficiency or infection picked up with a blood test."
Other titles in the THQ Wireless catalogue include Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Lego Indiana Jones and WWE Smackdown vs Raw.
