Vodafone advises customers how to spend monthly saving

A new deal from Vodafone will offer users who sign up for an 18-month contract £10 off their monthly tariff.
The Sky News website reports today that Vodafone customers who take advantage of the scheme will see £10 knocked off £35 and £40 monthly contracts and have even gone as far as to suggest how they could spend the extra cash.
Of these "ways to spend a life-changing tenner", the company suggests buying a lottery ticket or scratch card, betting on a horse, buying a book and purchasing a life changing book are among the most popular.
It adds that the purchase of a pregnancy testing kit, spending on a mobile top-up and buying flowers or a drink for a partner could also be an option.
The suggestions stem from a survey in which Vodafone attempted to find out how £10 can be used to significantly alter a life - with 52 per cent of respondents stating that on at least one occasion, the amount has made a difference to them.
