Sony Ericsson is about to bring its Cyber-shot series back to stores - but this time the range of mobile phones could be a little leaner.
According to phonearena.com, two new Cyber-shot handsets were unveiled at this year's Mobile World Congress in Barcelona and have been named the C702 and C902.
However, it is reported that the new Cyber-shot mobile phones - or C-series as they are now known - will be built to replace not only the older models but also act as successor to handsets like the Sony Ericsson K850.
Five-megapixel camera and PhotoFlash technology mean the focus of the new range is likely to be heavily applied to the built-in camera features. However, the website notes that the unit's slim design is equally likely to impress.
"With dimensions of 4.2 x 1.9 x 0.4 inches, the successor is about 40 per cent slimmer [than the K850] and its overall appearance is much classier - good job Sony Ericsson!" the review states.
Sony Ericsson recently launched a new handset in partnership with Def Jam Records which is exclusively available at the Carphonewarehouse.
