A number of network and manufacturer partnerships are set to go ahead that will offer more options for mobile phones customers, according to reports.
According to mobiletoday.co.uk, a new deal will be struck between LG and Vodafone soon that will see one of the manufacturer's most eagerly awaited handsets - the LG Secret - available on the network for the first time.
It is also reported that Samsung could soon have some of its mobile phones available on the 3 network ending a deal allegedly struck five years ago that prohibited the manufacturers from supplying the networks.
"A deal is understood to have been brokered around the time 3 launched five years ago where Vodafone agreed it would not source LG handsets in exchange for Samsung not supplying 3," the site notes.
According to Australian technology news website ChannelNews, LG has seen its mobile phones division go from strength to strength, while its LCD TV department has struggled.
