A new handset from Motorola could be enough to excite users who were unhappy with the latest RAZR model, according to one website.
Phonearena.com suggests that some consumers may have been disappointed in the manufacturer's recent RAZR2 V9 and adds that the launch of the Z9 could go some way to placate these people.
The website notes that one similarity that the two handsets have is their stylish design. However, it is also pointed out that the Z9 will be a slide mode as opposed to the RAZR2 V9 which is a clamshell.
"To make it more than just a fashion statement, it comes with GPS, a 2.0MP camera, SD memory card slot, quad-band as well as dual-band 3G capabilities," the site adds.
It goes on to suggest the new model is "one outstanding looking handset" and could be an impressive phone that tests its rivals on its release.
Motorola's most recent RAZR2 V9 comes with an aluminium body, has two QVGA screens, a two-megapixel camera and is 3G GSM enabled.
