More good news for social networking fans

More users of mobile phones who are fans of social networking sites such as MySpace and Facebook may be interested to hear about a new service from CellSpin.

The company is offering a new application that can be downloaded to mobile phones across the globe allowing users to connect their audio, video and picture files to their social networking profiles without the need for access to a PC or laptop.

It is reported that the free service was also praised at the DEMO Conference in January this year, where it was awarded a position in the Top 10 Companies launched at the event.

Bobby Singh, CellSpin's chief executive officer, said in a recent statement that the service offers the kind of "immediate gratification" that many have been waiting for and the group's chief technical officer Marcos Klein agreed.

"Sure, there are applications out there where you can take pictures and post them to one particular website, but … with CellSpin you can simultaneously post to multiple sites in one-click," he said.

Sony Ericsson's K660i could be ideal for social networking as it offers HSDPA mobile broadband compatibility.
