As LG mobile prepares to launch the third Black Label Series handset in London this week, it has released the findings of a new style icon survey.
1950s blonde bombshell Marilyn Monroe and Elvis Presley were voted the UK's number one female and male style icons.
In Europe, the majority voted for Monroe but rejected the King of Rock 'n' Roll in favour of actor George Clooney.
Jeremy Newing, head of LG mobile marketing, said: "Trends come and go but style is something that, as these icons prove, is timeless.
"Monroe and Elvis epitomise a look that lasts and this is something that goes beyond clothes, fashion or a hairstyle it's also a balance of personality and attitude."
According to LG, the new handset "boasts style that lasts" thanks to its "cool" carbon fibre casing and "elegant" glass screen.
The handset is also being marketed as one of the slimmest camera phones on the market.
A recent survey by LG revealed that one in five Brits think that a person's mobile phone is indicative of their fashion sense.
