A new handset from HTC combines the best elements of the manufacturer's mobile phones with a number of more high-end features.

According to a review this week for phonearena.com, the HTC Touch Cruise is set to replace the company's P3300 Artemis and as well as offering all the usual components comes with a built in satellite navigation (satnav) system.

It is reported that the system uses Navigator 6 software from satnav manufacturing firm Tom Tom that uses built-in GPS that can be used "anywhere in the world".

The site adds that the Touch Cruise is also equipped with an FM radio, Wi-Fi and a three-megapixel camera, and praises the handset's stylish design which it notes is a definite improvement on its predecessor.

"Its overall appearance has changed … even the design of the back is nice, but still comfortable, because of the rubber coat," the review states.

Earlier this month, reghardware.co.uk said HTC's rubberised Touch model "was nothing short of superb".
