Clamshell Sony adds to Walkman Cannon

A new clamshell handset from Sony Ericsson "is no runt", a new review has asserted.
According to a recent article for 3g.co.uk, the Sony Ericsson W380 Clamshell Walkman is as user-friendly as one would come to expect from the manufacturer but is still innovative enough to warrant a second look.
Firstly, the site notes that as makers of mobile phones have come to understand, over-packaging an item is a fast way to get criticised and the review states that Sony Ericsson have sidestepped this landmine with "a sensible sized box".
It is then noted that the W380 may be the latest in a long line of Walkman phones, the range of colours, OLED screen and high quality radio reception make the handset worthy of consideration.
"With the Sony Ericsson Walkman conveyor belt in full pelt, it's refreshing to see the manufacturer keeping things new … overall the Sony Ericsson W380 is no runt" the review concludes.
Last week, phonearena.com reported that Sony Ericsson had renamed and relaunched its Cyber-shot series with two new handsets - the C702 and C902.
