The T Mobile G1 may be an exciting addition to the UK mobile market, but one newspaper has said there are a number of other exciting handsets also available.
According to the Telegraph, the mobile phone's use of Google's Android operating system is set to see a number of imitators follow, but adds that Research In Motion (RIM) also has some innovative tricks up its sleeve.
It states that RIM's latest model, the touchscreen BlackBerry Storm, is an "exciting" new model that tops the G1 by offering a virtual keyboards, making it an interesting alternative to the T Mobile's slide-out qwerty-equipped offering.
However, it adds that in Google Android the search engine company has created a system that if used correctly could revolutionise the mobile phones industry.
"The iPhone may look like it can do all the things your desktop computer can do, but Android really can offer you all of a computer's capabilities in your pocket," it states.
The T Mobile G1 was launched this week and the BlackBerry Storm is also available now.
