Sony Ericsson has built on its reputation for putting out music and camera-focussed mobile phones with a new entry-level handset, it has been suggested.
In a recent review for the Trusted Reviews website, Sandra Vogel states that there is no shortage of "high end, fancy, music playing and camera-toting" Sony Ericsson models - and this is likely to remain the case.
However, she states that whereas the W980 is a great option for music lovers and the five-megapixel C902 is "very nice", the T303 is a clear "attempt to capture some of the entry-level market".
Weighing 93g, the handset is praised for its portability and Ms Vogel adds that the T303 slider is available in black and silver on pay as you go at around £50-60.
A 1.8-inchscreen offers a 120 x 160 pixel resolution and also onboard the phone is a music player, FM radio, 8MB of built-in memory, Bluetooth, 1.3-megapixel camera and up to 11 hours of non-stop music playback on one full charge.
However, cameraphone fans may wish to wait until next month when the manufacturer's eight-megapixel C905 Cyber-shot is launched.
