The latest addition to Motorola's range is clearly aimed at the fashion-conscious consumer, according to reports.
IT Pro Portal states this week that the mobile phone company has been struggling to keep up with a number of its competitors in the mobile phones market - an issue it will no doubt hope the new Aura addresses.
The site notes that the Motorola Aura may not be a cheap handset but adds "it has an incredible wow factor".
Equipped with a two-megapixel camera and 2GB of internal memory, the phone is not for those who like their mobile phones fitted with the most up-to-date technology, however, there are features that will make it attractive to some.
"It has a Sapphire lens and boosts the first circular LCD display capable of showing 16 million colours," the site states, adding that the manufacturer claims the Aura offers "superb craftsmanship and [a] distinctive interface".
Those looking for a music-focused Motorola handset may be more interested in the ROKR E8. The phone is Windows Media Player 11 compatible and has touch-sensitive controls.
