More details arrive on LG Prada successor

Following recent speculation that LG was about to follow up its popular designer mobile phones, T3 has confirmed some of the new handset's details.
The consumer electronics resource reports this week that the South Korean manufacturer will launch the LG Prada II following the success of the first phone - although no release date has yet to be set.

However, predicting that the new handset could be available "before the turn of the year", the site adds that fans of the original will find a surprise beneath the similarly designed fascia of its successor.
"For a start, there is that much-leaked slide-out (and super-slim) keyboard, perfect for knocking out those fashion blogs or catching up with your email mountain," it states, adding that the original touchscreen keypad will remain.
3G and HSDPA connectivity, Wi-Fi, and a five-megapixel camera with Schneider-Kreuznach lens will also be included.
In August this year, Boy Genius Report said LG would launch a second LG Prada, predicting a five-megapixel camera, HSDPA and a slide-out keypad, according to Channel News.
