O2 has unveiled its latest offering for those who like their mobile to do practically everything - the Xda Zest.
This PDA is also a phone, GPS/satnav, personal computer, browser and more.
As well as a two-week trail of ALK's CoPilot satellite navigation service, it comes with HSDPA support (for fast 3G data access), Wi-Fi, an FM radio, Windows Media Player and a three-megapixel camera.
The Windows Mobile 6.1 operating system means the Xda Zest can also run a wide range of applications designed around Microsoft, some of which have been preloaded onto the Xda Zest - including the mobile editions of Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
It goes on sale from the November 17th and will be priced at around £249.99 on Pay&Go and free on most pay monthly contracts.
"O2, the guys that punt the iPhone in the UK have bought out a touchscreen smartphone that's a hundred quid cheap than the iPhone," said Absolute Gadget.
It added that the Microsoft aspect should not put people off it.
