Motorola Kodak partnership 'could go far'
Posted: 5 December 2008
The decision to link up with Kodak has the potential to reap rewards in the future for Motorola, it has been suggested.
In a recent article for the Trusted Reviews website, Sandra Vogel looks at the first collaboration between the two companies - the Motorola MOTOZINE ZN5 - and predicts good things for the future.
She states that although the company that brought us the StarTAC, RAZR and ROKR has launched a five-megapixel model, in a market about to be flooded by eight-megapixel camera phones, it is important to remember "megapixel count alone is not enough."
However, she notes that at the moment, the partnership has a lot of work to do if it is going to catch up with its many rivals - but adds it will be interesting to see their next move.
"Motorola's partnership with Kodak has a way to go before it can rival the best camera phones, but I'd like to see it develop further," Ms Vogel concludes.
The MOTOZINE ZN5 also features auto focus, as well as a Xenon flash 4GB memory card support.
