Research in Motion (RIM) is the latest manufacturer to offer its mobile phones in vibrant pink.
The company has announced that two of its handsets will be given a makeover and will be available in some markets in the new colour.
RIM advised the new BlackBerry Curve 8330 and Pearl 8130 will have the same level of performance as their silver siblings, but said the new smartphones would be more appealing to younger users.
"The hip, pink colours give students added flair when they are at school or interviewing for an internship or job," the company said in a statement.
RIM's BlackBerry 8110 is one model already available in pink for UK customers, the smartphone is available at the Carphonewarehouse and according to the retailer's website is a "surprisingly bright handset
in every way".
In addition to the full qwerty keypad the phone has a 1.3-megapixel camera, Micro SD support and a 64MB internal memory.
