A new mobile broadband offer has been announced by O2 that could see users able to take advantage of a free landline service.
ZDNet reports that the network unveiled plans this week to provide a £20 monthly mobile broadband package that will include a home service at no extra cost.
It is thought that speeds of up to 8mbps can be expected on the new tariff which O2 will have available for a limited time - believed to be from August 1st until October 31st.
O2 claims that the move confirms them as "the first established broadband player to offer customers high-speed internet access inside the home and on the move" in one single package, the site adds.
A number of other mobile broadband special offers have been announced recently including free laptops from retailers such as Phones4U and the Carphonewarehouse.
3 also recently announced it would bundle laptops and dongles as part of a total mobile broadband package, Mobile Today reports.
