A new service has been launched aimed at helping captains of sports teams and clubs to organise their weekly schedule.
Teamer.net said the tool will ease financial and administrative burdens for those in charge of communicating with members of teams, because it enables them to send details to mobile phones and computers for free.
When it sends the information, replies are collated on the club's web page so the captain can then see the results at once, instead of fielding different responses.
In addition, an "auto call-up" feature is included. This automatically selects a replacement player's email or mobile phone address and sends them the relevant information should the first team player decline the invitation.
"We wanted to make it easier for the sporting community to organise their sports team activity," said Teamer's chief executive officer Niall McEvoy.
The service also allows the captain to use a blog to outline tactics and strategies.
