LGLG's latest mid-range sliding handset bucks the trend for mobile phones of its type to be boring, a new review states.

Technology news website Crave notes that the South Korean manufacturer's KS360 is unusually equipped with a full qwerty keyboard which will no doubt appeal to text addicts.

It states that the handset has a simple two-megapixel camera and lacks 3G or wireless connectivity, but as the phone is being marketed at a specific demographic this unlikely to go against it on its release.

"This phone isn't being pitched as a super-phone - it's all about messaging, so you get shortcut keys to SMS and an instant-messaging client," the site adds.

It concludes that the KS360 is expected to be available in early September to Orange customers and O2 users will have access to it shortly afterwards, with pay as you go also an option for buyers.

"[The LG KS360 offers] a competent messaging experience that allows you to stay in touch with friends quite easily."

For those considering a phone with a full qwerty keyboard and 3G connectivity the new BlackBerry Bold could be one option.
