A new article has singled out the LG GT500 as a handset that is the latest in a long line of budget touchscreen models.

A new fashion-focused handset has been described by one reviewer as a "very striking" addition to its manufacturer's range.
The LG BL40 is the one of the latest handsets to come with the South Korean firm's Chocolate range that an article for Mobile Burn has stated have been in demand since 2006.
In the piece, Russell Jefferies considered the new device and explained that although it offers the same style and functionality as some of its predecssors it is not just this that makes it tempting.

People looking for a mobile phone that can help them minimise their impact on the planet may be impressed by a new model from LG.
The manufacturer's GD510 - otherwise known as Pop - has been designed to keep energy consumption as low as possible.
Buyers will find the handset boasts an eco-calculator that is built into the mobile's menu system and allows them to monitor how much CO2 they save by using the phone.

LG adds affordability to Chocolate

A new addition to the LG range is claimed to offer the same level of luxury as its predecessors at a more affordable price.
It was announced this week by the South Korean manufacturer that the BL40 launched earlier this month would be followed up with another device, the BL20.
Both models form part of the LG Chocolate line up, but although the company claimed each is luxurious in terms of design and functionality, the latter will be target those on a budget.

LG announces new Android device

A new mobile phone powered by the Google Android operating system has been launched this week.
Following the recent announcement that Samsung and Motorola have a similarly-equipped device ready for launch, LG has become the third firm to join HTC in offering a gadget that supports the software.

LG has announced the details of the latest entry in its range of Chocolate devices, adding that it will be available soon at the Carphonewarehouse.
The BL40 boasts a new four-inch screen that operates with a 21:9 aspect ratio - which is the format used for most DVD releases - with support offered for high definition video playback.

LG has unveiled one of the UK’s most eagerly anticipated gadgets with the new GD910 mobile phone watch.
According to an early review in Stuff magazine, the phone watch includes a 1.4 inch full colour screen and LG has also included stereo Bluetooth capabilities, with speech recognition and voice commands.

LG Arena shifts over one million units

LG has announced that a mobile phone it launched at the Mobile World Congress this year has gone on to sell over a million units worldwide.
The South Korean manufacturer explained that the KM900 Arena has been extremely popular in various markets and has contributed to a European total of more than five million purchases in the second quarter of 2009.

The LG Touchscreen Watchphone hits stores next week and the network that will be exclusively supporting it has commented on the device.
Having announced earlier this year that the gadget would join the Toshiba TG01 and a number of other "innovative" upcoming handsets, Orange has explained why it believes the model will prove to be a hit.

One of the latest phones to be made available by LG has been described by one reviewer as "very jazzy".
Russell Jefferies said in a piece for the Mobile Burn website that the manufacturer had created a "handsome" model in the form of the GD900 Crystal - and this was something that would impress potential buyers.
