Sony Ericsson K850i Blue
Sony Ericsson K850i Blue
The Cybershot is one of those brand names that instantly tells you something about the product you see it on. Essentially, you know you're going to get an awesome camera. And the Sony Ericsson K850i Cybershot phone is no exception, packed to the gills with lots of cool stuff!
Camera/Phone
Cameraphones are ace, aren't they? Remember back when the first cameraphone came out? Remember how cool it was to be able to actually take pics with your phone?
Now, take a look at one of the most advanced cameraphones to evolve, the 5 megapixel, Cybershot Sony Ericsson K850i.
Picture Perfect
The key thing about the Sony Ericsson K850i is built round, the thing that lies at the centre of its reason for living, is its fabulous 5 megapixel camera. And it really is a thing of beauty. You can be certain you're getting a fabulously sharp camera, but with all the extra stuff that makes a Cybershot the king of cameras, like anti-shake and low light enhancements.
Now, throw into the mix video recording at 30 frames per second (so, DVD quality, then), and the fact you can instantly send your pics and videos to your blog with one button press, and the Sony Ericsson K850i becomes a cameraphone for the next generation.
Memory Master
Another killer new feature in the Sony Ericsson K850i is the memory card support. 'But most phones do that nowadays!' we hear you cry... Well, yes, but this is the first phone that lets you use two different types of memory card. So, you can use Sony's own Memory Stick Micro (M2) format, or you can go for a microSD card. Yet more evidence of Sony Ericsson setting out to make the K850i the best cameraphone you can buy.
Customer Focus
'Redesign' is a crucial word for the Sony Ericsson K850i. Everything's been redesigned, from the menu software, to the keypad, to the size of the screen, to the way the camera buttons work. And it's all been done based on what you, the customer wants. So, basically, you're getting the phone you told Sony Ericsson to make. And that includes things like motion control, being able to control games by tipping the phone about, and making the view shift from landscape to portrait, just by tilting the phone.
But has it worked? Has all this redesign made the Sony Ericsson K850i a better phone? Well, yes, quite frankly. Don't believe us? Buy one today, and find out just how good it is, for yourself!

The W910i is not good because it only has 2 mp camera.but the K850i is good with taking good pictures.

Great phone!! But i have to admit that the screen freezes and I am now on my 5 th one due to it turning itself off and when you go to power it on the screen does not work. Has anyone else had the same fault ????

I dont understand why somebody would design a camera with the lens cap Underneath a scratchable plastic cover. This will be a fantastic cameraphone right up untill I put it in my pocket with my keys.

Don't be skeptic about this phone. It is amazing. First off, I believe that Sony-Ericsson has the most innovative and easiest internal system out of any mobile phones available You can do so much that you cant do with other phones its ridiculous to have anything else.
I had the W810i and recently upgraded to the K850i, and I thought 2 megapixels was good! Now I have 5! I thought I would lose my walkman features and other specs about my old phone. But the K850i has everything and more. Music, Touchscreen (kind of), Photos(Best of all camera phones), Camcorder like Videos, Web Surfing, and Track ID.
This phone is just endless because you can download applications and new games or features. It really has a lot to offer.
Dont listen to people who dont like the 3 touch screen buttons. They work great and I havent had any problems with them. They keypad works just as good as any other phone, while the navigational pad doesnt get in the way.
I would highly recommend this phone to anyone who is trying to decide between phones.
The Sony Ericsson K850i is the way to go, I can go on and on about its features. But you should find the joy in that yourself.

I must admit I got one of the first k850i's which unfortunately had many faults with the camera in which is basically did not take a picture worthy of even a 1 megapixel camera!!!!! however I recently got it swapped over by T-Mobile for the current batch that the stores have now and the phone is fantastic its fun to use and yes it still has a few quirks which I have noticed in both the nokia n95 and lg viewty( both 5 megapixel cameras) like when u take a picture in low light in side it tends to go alot slower and not take a totally clear picture but that’s because the light sensor cant decide whether its day or night haha but 9 times out of 10 it takes an amazing picture and the video quality is 2nd to none
