When talking about a rugged phone like the Samsung Solid, the obvious place to start is the design. The bodywork, if you like. And what a body it is, albeit more Mr Universe than Miss World. It's designed that way for the express purpose of being resistant to dust, shocks and water.
In fact, the phone is rated to IP54. The IP scaled tells you how resistant to dust and water it is, with each individual number in it being a score out of 5 for either water or dust. So, just from that, you can tell the Samsung Solid is very resistant to the elements!
Fun Club
But the thing is... the Samsung Solid also has a fun side, a more frivolous side. It knows how to let its hair down, so you'll also find a camera built in. It's nice to know your phone will survive anything you throw at it, but it's just as nice to know you'll have the photos to prove it!

Recently purchased this excellent piece of kit. Bought specifically as a PHONE that could stand the wear and tear of business use. Very competitively priced so if you want a PHONE that does exactly what it says on the box, then this one is for you. We are Service Engineers, so we know a thing or two about build quality and this one is the same breed as the JCB only alot better priced.
