Android OS

The HTC Legend uses the latest version of the Google Android operating system (2.1) – new features include better navigation and customised home screens with shortcuts. Customers will also be able to download lots of apps and Google services such as Google search, G-Mail and Google maps.

The mobile phone has the intuitive HTC Sense user interface, allowing you to personalise your new phone and add shortcuts to all your favourite mobile applications whether it's news widgets or blogs.

The HTC Legend makes it very easy to stay in touch with all your friends with the Sense Friend Stream. The widget provides a single place for all your socialising to happen, linking in Facebook, Twitter and Flickr.

The HTC Legend's 3.2 inch AMOLED touch screen display has bright, vivid colours and capacitive technology. The phone can run several applications at once and the touchscreen functionality means the applications can easily be flicked between using your fingers.

Connectivity

The HTC Legend has 3G, HSDPA (mobile broadband) and Wi-Fi providing an excellent mobile internet experience. The Legend's web browser gives you access to internet sites directly from your phone so you can check the latest scores, news and train times wherever you are.

GPS

There's no need to get lost with the HTC Legend. The smartphone's inbuilt GPS acts as a general SatNav device when used with mapping software and it's optimised for use with Google Maps.
