The BlackBerry Torch 9800 is a touchscreen phone with a slide-out QWERTY keyboard. It packs BlackBerry's new operating system, along with BlackBerry Messenger and Media Syncing so that you can stay in touch and listen to music on the go. Add to this a cracking five-megapixel camera and Wi-Fi connectivity and what you have is one very versatile BlackBerry phone.
BlackBerry OS 6.0
The BlackBerry Torch 9800 uses the new BlackBerry 6.0 operating system - new features include the WebKit internet browser, better menus, user interface and multimedia gallery.
BlackBerry Messenger and email
You'll always be able to stay in touch with family, friends and colleagues with the Torch. BlackBerry Messenger has the look and feel of PC instant messaging programmes. It allows group chat, as well as individual chat, and lets you know when people have read your messages and are starting their replay. It uses data, so does not use up a text allowance. The mobile phone has the intuitive HTC Sense user interface, allowing you to personalise your new phone and add shortcuts to all your favourite mobile applications whether it's news widgets or blogs. Instant email lets you access your email on your mobile phone.
QWERTY keyboard – touch and type
The smartphone not only has a 3.2-inch touchscreen display with a built-in accelerometer and proximity sensor, it also has a full slide-out QWERTY keyboard for easy typing.
BlackBerry Media Syncing
Sync your Torch 9800 with your iTunes and Windows Music player so you can fill your phone with your favourite music. And you can set a limit to the amount of music you sync so you don't accidentally use up too much of your phone's memory. You can then play your music on your phone using its built-in music player.
GPS
There's no need to get lost with the Torch 9800. The smartphone's inbuilt GPS receiver can act as a general SatNav device.
Five-megapixel camera
The phone has a five-megapixel camera which takes great pictures that you can then store on your phone and share with friends.
Apps
Access all the apps in BlackBerry App World on your Torch 9800 – you can download games, Facebook and more.

Ive had many different phones and this is the best on so by far...it has amazing apps...you can do more than one thing at once...you get YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and Google...it is amazing...it is also touchscreen and has a qwerty pad...love my BlackBerry Torch... =]
