Some services (such as AA Vodafone Roadwatch)
can be accessed directly, but a convenient umbrella
number for some of the most popular information
services is the Vodafone Infoline. Dialling
2222 from your mobile gives you access to the
following:
- AA Vodafone Roadwatch
- AA Weather Watch
Calls to the Vodafone Infoline are charged
at 30p per minute (excluding VAT), though different
charges may apply to services accessed through
it.
> Met Office
More and more business people need to travel
to meet clients and suppliers around the UK
and abroad these days. By knowing the conditions
you will face on the roads or on the railways
before you set off, you can plan ahead and ensure
you arrive for that important meeting in good
time. The latest weather information is available
on your Vodafone straight from the Met Office.
The news is sent via text messages, with inshore
weather forecasts updated three times a day,
and shipping area forecasts every six hours.
Dial 08700 767 838 from your Vodafone mobile
phone to access this service.
> AA Vodafone Personal Roadwatch Service
"You're cruising home on the A62 when suddenly
you're nose to tail. What's the hold-up? How
long is the jam? Would it be quicker turning
off at the next junction and taking another
route? Dial 2222 from your Vodafone mobile to
get the answers.
It's quick - the system automatically locates
you and gives you the latest traffic information
for your area.
It's comprehensive - you can get details on
specific motorways or A roads.
To use AA Roadwatch:
- Press 1 for a live traffic report for a
specific motorway
- Press 2 for a live traffic report for a
specific A road
- Press 3 for regional information on traffic
around the UK
- Press 4 for regional information on weather
around the UK
- Press * for instructions
It usually takes less than a minute to get
the information you need. And with calls costing
only 45p per minute (Inc vat), can you afford
not to find out?".
Please note that Corporate customers on a mobile
virtual private network (MVPN) will need to
add a 981 prefix before dialling 2222.

Directory Enquiries
When you need to find a number and get through
fast, Vodafone's Through Connect service can
help. Dial 197 from your Vodafone. An operator
will find the number and connect you to it straight
away. This is especially useful if it is not
convenient to write a number down and then dial
it (like when you're driving using a hands-free
kit).
You can also find out international numbers
by dialling 197.
Calls to 197 cost 50.2p per minute (excluding
VAT).
> Customer Care
Sometimes problems can't be avoided. But sorting
them out is as quick and easy as calling Vodafone's
Customer Care team. Just phone 191 from your
mobile and the team will do all they can to
make sure you're getting the service you need.
This service is free from a Vodafone mobile.
From a fixed-line phone it will be charged at
the standard rate and you will need to dial
07836 191 191.
> Emergency Services
For Police, Fire or Ambulance services, dial
999 or 112.
All calls to the emergency services are free.
> Premium Rate
Vodafone provides cost-effective audiotex services
to Information and Service Providers in the
Premium Rate market, through a range of managed
Interactive Voice Response (IVR) facilities.
