range and pricing of mobile phones online. It's
one of the few sites to sell both SIM-free and
across all four major networks (Orange, T-Mobile,
Vodafone and O2), at competitive prices. Delivery
is free and only takes one or two days. Many
other sites we looked at specialise either in
cheap, outdated phones (no good for our new
Nokia 7650), or SIM-free only, or network only.
It's good to find a one-stop shop that goes
the whole hog. The site is clearly set out,
waffle-free. easily navigated and has a very
professional "Carphone Warehouse"
feel to it. As one T-Mobile supplier observed,
"They are Internet people selling phones,
not phone people having a go at the Internet.
It's like dealing with a 100-shop retail chain."

is right on the pulse, offering a range of accessories,
PDA's, digital cameras, and portable MP3 players
to accompany your new purchase.

phones, it's the buyers' guides that stand out,
making it easy to focus your needs, then compare
phones and tariffs at a glance. Live help (yes,
you get to talk to a real person!) is available
on the other end of the phone if you need expert

a smooth, fuss free procedure too - no wobbly

Why it's our top site:
It's a combination of factors that swing
it for MobileShop. For a start, it saved us
£50 on the Carphone Warehouse high street
price of a Nokia 7650 connected to Orange Everytime
20. It also offered the SIM-free alternative
at a price that easily matched the high street.
It's free, fast delivery was a winner too. As
if that wasn't enough, the level of customer
service and knowledgeable feel of the site made
us begin to wonder if we were in an established
high street store after all - it's no wonder
that MobileShop has such an excellent customer
retention rate. The site is particularly easy
to navigate and you can find everyting you need
for your mobile. If this isn't the best online
mobile store around, then I'm Julius Caesar.
