Make a note of your IMEI - this is a unique reference, similar to the VIN number of a vehicle You can find the IMEI on the box your phone arrives in or simply key in

Mark your phone
Why not mark your phone with a UV security pen which leaves a mark that is not visible to the naked eye? These pens are available from good stationary stores at a reasonable cost. Remove the battery and cover and mark with your postcode and house number.
Set your PIN
If you set your PIN, it will be more difficult for anyone to use, and so prevent unauthorised calls.
