Virgin Media is "extremely proud" to be the first mobile phone company to offer free home-to-mobile calls for its new and existing customers.
The network will allow its phone clients to ring from their landlines to Virgin mobiles free of charge, beginning in April.
Graeme Oxby, executive director of mobile and telephony at the media company, said the company was pleased with the new initiative when "other providers seem keen on giving their customers less from their phone service".
He added: "Our successful quadplay strategy has demonstrated customers are looking for exceptional value by bundling more services together."
Virgin claims the offer will give its consumers "an unbeatable way to save" after more than £1.6 million was spent on calls from landlines to mobile phones.
The network has a majority of mobile phones on its tariffs including the LG Brio GM205 with two-megapixel camera and the HTC HD2 touchscreen handset.
