<description>Hi all no the Nokia 5800 is not the first touch phone from Nokia. However it is the their first truely successfull working model to go on sale. I remember reading about the Nokia 7700 when it was announced in a mobile magazine. I also read that the os it would use was adaptable and that it could accept new devices and changes. Sadly it never made the market and the os appart from being used on the Nokia Communicator series it was a s you say binned. If it had been more stylish I think the phone would have sold but the os would have let it down as it did no favours for the Communicator.
