The Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 has the “best” camera on an Android smartphone, according to one reviewer.
Stuff magazine said the eight-megapixel function with a four-inch screen delivers the “wow factor” and “trounces” all the other handsets which operate on the Android system.
A main feature of the gadget is the infinity button which is one “of the more successful attempts to rationalise social networks”.
It allows the user to navigate through the Mediascape and Timescape options and the latter is described as one of the phone’s “killer” aspects because it displays an animated 3D tile-effect of new notifications, such as a new Facebook wall post or a Twitter alert.
The handset also runs on the 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and has 1GB of storage included.
Another offering from the manufacturer is the Sony Ericsson Vivaz, which the magazine said was a “stylish little smartphone” and includes an 8.1-megapixel camera.

The X10 camera is ok, but is nowhere near as good as the camera on the Sony Ericsson C905 – I upgraded from this to the X10 and as such am very disappointed with the camera. The photos appear good on the phone itself, but when uploaded to a PC they are very poor quality indeed.
